Focused Practice in Hospital Medicine

MOC Self-Assessment POINTS

ABIM requires diplomates to obtain 100 self-evaluation points every five years to maintain the Focused Practice in Hospital Medicine designation, including at least 20 points in medical knowledge and at least 20 points in practice performance. Some MOC activity must be completed every 2 years. Credit options are found on the ABFM website.

ABFM requires completion of six MC-FP hospital medicine related activities in the last 10 years, of which four activities must have been completed in the last 3 years and one must have been a Part IV (practice performance) activity.  More information and credit options are found on the ABFM
